The problem addressed by this advertisement is (kind of) obviously the pizza is not spicy enough.   He solves this by putting Tabasco on the pizza .. and mosquito bites him (my reaction [I think alot of others would react this way] would be to jump up and swat it) and he just sits there.  Comedically, this is another 'solution' to mosquitos - just .. eat Tabasco.  I think this is more of a commercial to appeal to men and the need to be 'tough' - because what guy wouldn't want spicy blood?

The problems not addressed are .. possibly, why is this hillbilly sitting outside on his porch at night eating pizza.  Shouldn't he be watching football or something?  Or possibly, another problem it could be addressing is obesity.
