A good image for my manner of making decisions in general would be some sort of scale or weighing device. I carefully weigh my options and based on whether or not the decision is good for me, I will choose it.

If a decision is close, though, the image I choose is definitely a coin, because, well, sometimes I actually use a coin to decide.
