Back in grade school in the summer, our family went to both Galveston and Corpus Christi (two separate years, two separate trips, definitely two separate cities).

We initially went to Corpus Christi to fish and enjoy the beaches, but we found this.

Our trip to Galveston was a little better, the beaches weren't nearly as dirty.  We also passed through San Antonio and Austin for the first time (in my life) so I found this trip much more enjoyable.
