What's the central idea in Batman, what are we supposed to learn?
I feel that the central idea in Batman (not only the movie, but the whole series) is that it doesn't take a superhero to be a hero. Bruce Wayne is just a normal guy, who I guess is smarter than average, but otherwise, he's really not special at all. It only takes the passion to become a hero.
My mother could compare to Alfred, always being there and giving advice. (not to mention the house chores)
I can kind of compare to Wayne, but not to the extreme degree, in that he is a loner. And I guess I depend too much sometimes on my intelligence to pull me out of situations (that I haven't prepared for, per se.)
